On Thursday May 22nd, 28 Athletes from Muff School took part in the Cavan Primary Schools Athletics Competition held in Shercock AC. We entered 5 relay teams, and 8 athletes in individual events. 34 schools from Co Cavan took part on the day. Our Senior Mixed relay and our Junior Boys Relay both made it out of their heats and into the finals. Our Senior Mixed relay (Méabh Shiels, Cillian Hughes, Hannah McKenna & Davy McCormack) ran an excellent race in the final, finishing in 3rd place overall. Davy McCormack came 3rd in the Longjump too. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and well organised day.
