End of Year Newsletter June 2022

Booklists/Classes for Next Year:   With your child’s report today, you should find attached a booklist for the coming year. It will also state what teacher/class your child is in come September. The class allocation for next year as it stands is:

Junior Infants/Senior Infants: Ms. McNally

Senior Infants/1^st: Ms. Swinburne

2^nd/3^rd: Ms Campbell

4^th/5^th: Appointment to be made

5^th/6^th: Mr Byrne

The book rental money for the coming year can also be paid before the summer. As you can see from the lists, there is a huge amount of books that are purchased and kept by the school.

We would also ask that you try to ensure that all the school rental books are returned to us this week. We would also ask you to have a look for any school library books that may have been left lying around at home.

Graduation Mass:   Well done to all our students in 6^th who completed their Graduation Mass at the weekend. They will be completing their time in Muff tomorrow and we wish them well heading into secondary.

Tours:   3^rd and 4^th are on their tour to Tanagh tomorrow.

End of School Year:   We are finishing up for the holidays on Friday at 12:00. We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very safe and happy holiday. Students return on the 1^st of September. Below you will find a provisional calendar for next year.

School re-opens – Thursday September 1^st (Junior Infants will finish at 12:30 for the first week)

Halloween Break – Closed Monday October 31^st – Friday November 4^th inclusive

Christmas Holidays – Finish Wednesday December 21^st at 12:30 – Re-open Thursday Jan 5^th, 2023

February Bank Holiday – Closed Monday February 6th

February Mid-Term – Closed Thursday 16^th and Friday February 17^th

St. Patrick’s Day – Closed Thursday March 16t^h & Friday March 17^th

Easter Holidays – Finish Friday March 31^st at 12:30 – Re-open Monday April 17^th

May Bank Holiday – Closed Friday April 28^th and Monday May 1^st

June Bank Holiday – Closed Friday June 2^nd and Monday June 5^th

Summer Holidays – Finish Thursday June 29^th 2023 at 12pm
